The Gospel: What's It all About? Titus 2:11-14 I Introduction Someone once said that given the choice between Heaven and Hell, the answer is really very simple for most people. No sane person would ever choose torment over forgiveness and happiness. But, if given the choice between Heaven and this world, then the issue may not be so simple. This morning we want to think about what it is that God is accomplishing in saving a soul from judgment. What is His intended result? For what purpose is He saving individuals? The New Testament is very clear on what it is God is doing and why when He graciously reaches down and saves a sinful, guilty soul from the condemnation they already are under. One group of verses in the New Testament that does that very specifically is Titus 2:11-14.
