Dear Praying Partners,

We are grateful to the Lord for the part that you each play in ministry with us. We want to share some of the exciting things that are going on in the Philippines at this time.

This month one of the missionaries on Northern Luzon is ending the first phase of Chronological teaching and will be presenting the Gospel for the first time to the Agta people where he is ministering. Please pray for John Burbidge to have wisdom as he teaches and for the people there that they would come to a knowledge of the Truth.

Another couple is teaching for the first time among the Mandaya people on south-eastern Mindanao, and they are sharing with the folks there on the Life and Ministry of Christ. Pray for open hearts there to really grasp the Truth of God’s Word.

The Binder family is in the middle of building their house on an island off the coast of northern Palawan. They are looking forward to starting to minister to the Calamian Tagbanwa people there. They are just starting out, so please pray for them that they would continue to trust in the Lord to lead them, even as the enemy of our souls would want to discourage them.

We have had three missions teams come through here lately. One each from Australia, U.S., and U.K. We are grateful for the great help that they have been and also for the chance that they have had to have a first hand missions experience. But I think the added work wore Peggy out. She has been sick for the last 4 days since the last team took off. So, please pray for her to be able to recover soon.

Speaking of Peggy, she will be going to the US for about 3 weeks this August. She will get a chance to visit our granddaughters (and their parents…smile), and also be there to help her sister, Gussie, with her knee replacement surgery. Also, it just so happens that Peggy will be able to be with her sister and our daughter-in-law, Jessi, in Arkansas at that time to celebrate their birthdays. Lord willing, I will continue to hold down the fort in Manila for our field chairman while he is on Home Assignment.

We want to thank you for praying for us, and for supporting us in ministry here. We know that things are difficult in the US right now, and we are grateful to the Lord for your continued support and encouragement.

Because of Christ,

Tim and Peggy
